About David

David Haley was elected to his first term in the Kansas Senate in 2000. He represents parts of Kansas City in Wyandotte County. 

David is a graduate of Morehouse College and of Howard University Law School. A former Wyandotte County Assistant District Attorney, David has worked in legal capacities at every level of government; city, county, state and federal as well as in a prominent private law firm. In the Kansas Senate, David has prioritized issues of responsible tax policy, gun safety, and a strong economy.
