About Karen

Karen Thurlow is a mother and an attorney with a proven track record of working together with opposing sides to reach compromise. She also volunteers with Lead to Read KC, providing reading and mentoring support to elementary students in high-need schools.

Karen has been a Johnson County resident for over 30 years, and her two children are both graduates of the Blue Valley School District. As Senator, Karen will be a strong advocate for quality schools, accessible healthcare, reproductive freedom, and fair tax policy.
