About Lawrence

Lawrence Moreno is a retired quality manager who worked in consensus building and rural advocacy.

Lawrence has seen the challenges faced by small businesses in bustling towns, parents worried about their children's education, and families struggling to access healthcare. His own upbringing taught him the value of hard work and resilience. Like many Kansans, his family faced periods of hardship. This instilled in him a deep understanding of the struggles everyday Kansans face and a fierce determination to help them build better lives.

Lawrence’s career was built on finding solutions, building consensus, and getting things done. Now, he is bringing that same practical approach, honed over years of experience, to the problems facing our state. He’s not a politician promising empty platitudes. He’s a problem-solver, a neighbor, and a Kansan who understands the challenges we face and is ready to roll up his sleeves and work for real solutions.

In the Senate Lawrence will help build a brighter future for Kansas by focusing on rural revitalization, quality education for all, affordable healthcare, and economic opportunity.
