About Pat

Pat Pettey was elected to her first term in the Kansas Senate in 2012. She represents parts of Kansas City in Wyandotte County.

Pat is a retired public educator, community leader, mother and grandmother. She has also served her community as a Unified Government commissioner and an educator in the Turner school district for 36 years. Pat has a passion for our community and is committed to the citizens of Kansas.

In the Kansas Senate, Pat has focused on delivering quality public education, lowered costs for Kansans, and healthcare affordability and access.
