About Usha

Usha Reddi was elected to her first term in the Kansas Senate in 2023. She represents Clay County, Riley County, and parts of Geary County.

Prior to being elected Senator, Usha served her community as City Commissioner and Mayor for Manhattan, Kansas. In addition, she worked as an educator in Manhattan-Ogden public schools where she served as the President of the National Education Association. Usha earned both a B.A. in developmental psychology from Ohio State and a B.S. in elementary education from Kansas State. In addition, she holds a Master's degree educational leadership from Kansas State.

As Senator, Usha has prioritized a healthy economy, bolstering small business owners, and adequately funding educators.
